GREEN BUILDING FEATURES:

-Passive solar design for natural ventilation, passive heating and cooling and daylighting.

-Straw bale construction to conserve resources and divert waste.

Pre-plumbed for greywater use in native, drought tolerant, turf-free landscaping.

Green non-toxis materials and finishes.

-Solar Electric photovoltaic system for clean & renewable electricity production.

-Countertops made of recycled newspaper, soybean resin and sunflower hulls. Recycled glass tiles.
